Visibility Score
A 0–100 score that measures how prominently your brand appears in AI-generated answers. The score factors in:- Presence — whether your brand is mentioned at all
- Prominence — how early and prominently you appear in responses
- Frequency — how consistently you appear across different prompts
Prompts
Prompts are the queries that PromptAlpha sends to AI search engines to monitor your brand. They represent the types of questions real users ask. Examples:- “What is the best project management tool for small teams?”

Citations
When AI engines generate answers, they often reference specific web pages as sources. These references are citations. PromptAlpha tracks which of your pages get cited, how often, and by which AI engines.Share of Answer
The percentage of citations in AI responses that point to your brand versus competitors. If an AI engine cites 10 sources in response to a prompt and 3 are yours, your share of answer is 30%.Sentiment

- Neutral — factual mention without strong opinion
