What Agent Analytics Does
AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini are changing how users discover and interact with your content. Agent Analytics monitors this new channel by tracking three key areas:- Crawler activity — which AI bots visit your site, how often, and which pages they index
- Traffic attribution — how many visitors arrive from AI search engines and what they do on your site
- Conversion tracking — which AI-referred visits turn into signups, purchases, or other business outcomes
Agent Analytics requires installing a lightweight JavaScript tracking snippet on your website. See the Tracking Snippet guide to get started.
Dashboard Overview
When you open Agent Analytics from the main navigation, you see a unified dashboard with three primary sections:| Section | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Crawler Visits | Total AI crawler hits, broken down by bot (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, etc.) |
| AI-Referred Traffic | Visits from users who clicked through from an AI search engine |
| Top Pages | The pages on your site that receive the most AI crawler and AI-referred traffic |
