# Workspace

> Configure your PromptAlpha workspace settings

Your workspace is the top-level container for all your PromptAlpha data — prompts, analytics, content, and team members.

## Workspace settings

Access workspace settings by navigating to **Settings > Workspace** in the PromptAlpha app.

### Company information

| Setting          | Description                                                           |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Company name** | Your brand name as it appears in reports and content                  |
| **Website URL**  | Your primary domain used for citation tracking and crawler monitoring |
| **Industry**     | Your business category, used to improve prompt suggestions            |

### API key

Your API key is required for the [tracking snippet](/docs/agent-analytics/tracking-snippet). Find it in **Settings > Workspace** under the **API Key** section.

<Warning>Keep your API key private. Do not share it publicly or commit it to version control.</Warning>

### Allowed domains

Configure which domains the tracking snippet should operate on. This prevents data from staging or development environments from mixing with production data.

## Data management

* **Visibility data** refreshes daily
* **Crawler data** is collected in real-time via the tracking snippet
* **Historical data** is retained based on your plan (see [Billing & Plans](/docs/settings/billing-and-plans))
